Reza Momeni, MD FACS
Dr. Reza Momeni is a board-certified Yale-trained plastic surgeon who has over a decade of experience treating Pectus Excavatum patients. His goals is to achieve results that will transform his patients’ lives. Over many years of practice, Dr. Momeni has developed a deep understanding of how difficult it is for patients with pectus excavatum to face the everyday challenges of going to the gym, swimming pools, changing rooms, or beach vacations. Dr. Momeni consults with patients to understand their needs and provides honest and personalized recommendations to each patient, keeping treatment safety and effectiveness in mind.
Dr. Momeni is particularly interested in minimally invasive techniques such as the SIMPLE Pectus Repair procedure to reconstruct and contour the chest in pectus excavatum patients without exposing patients to unnecessary complications or pain that are inherent in chest wall procedures such as the Nuss and Ravitch procedures.
Since starting his plastic surgery practice in 2004, Dr. Momeni has been dedicated to helping pectus excavatum patients with a SIMPLE Pectus treatment to restore their self-image and their ability to be proud of their bodies. Dr. Reza Momeni is the former Chief of Plastic Surgery at Overlook Medical Center and a partner physician at Summit Medical Group, NJ.
